Well not much new to report Blog wise But we did get a lot done. Last week I had to take a day off work due to the fact that I didn’t have a babysitter. And I thought Great!! More time to spend with Timothy and more time to work on the playground. I was able to get most everything else pressure washed. The only items I have left to pressure wash is the two sets of stairs and the rock wall. One thing about pressure washing everything it really does find the weak and rotten wood.

So those will have to be replaced, but my grandfather taught me to never throw away good wood. So… I saw a really good idea on another play set where they had a crow’s nest on top of the swing. And I believe I will have enough lumber to build most of it. So I notched out the swing beam where one of the wood root sections was and it was good. So I will be able to get a 4 foot section out of it for the end of the platform supports:
But more on this later.
So I did get some painting done:
And finally I got some of the railing put back together. That is the first picture in the post.
